I am trying to find a reputable bathroom fitter to fully refurb to bathrooms in my home. I have made a detailed list of the works that are required and have given a printed copy to those that have come round to quote. So far, I have either not heard from them once they come to view the job and take the list away, or I have had one builder take the list but then text me later with a rough quote but with no breakdown, along with a msg saying "I dont give breakdowns for quotes".
In the list I provided I put a section for all the works, labour, and asked if there were any suggestions they would like to add and quote for that they think would need doing.
Is it unreasonable to ask for a quote breakdown? I am providing all the materials, except pipe work and other parts that cannot be seen.
