Hi there, I live in south london se25 and I’m wondering how much it will cost to have an understairs bathroom done?
What’s done already……
I have already bought the suite and all nuts/bolts/u bends etc and (toilet/basin/quadrant shower tray/cubicle and all brassware. The soil pipe is in place and connected to the sewage system and. Capped off where the toilet bowl will sit.
What needs to be done….
Prep walls and floor as necessary
Suite to be fitted and connected to the water supply/soil pipe
Walls to have some sort of panelling instead of tiles - the same with the floor
For an extractor fan to connect to outside
Build a partition wall to separate the new bathroom area from the main hallway
Fit a door
So essentially I need someone to come in and do the above and I’ve been quoted £3,500 which I think seems quite a lot considering. I’d be paying for all materials separately. Please advise on the costs of fitting the above. Any recommendations for who could do it too would be great!
