We recently moved in to a property built in the 1890s. We have nearly no noise cancellation in the rooms, as we have large air bricks that can’t be closed. The vents appear to be built of plaster. We are concerned that if we block them up entirely we will have condensation issues, but we need to dramatically reduce the noise, as I am being woken up several nights a week.
What kind of tradesperson would be best placed to advise and implement a solution?
