I'm asking on behalf of my wife's friend, who uses the website. She had someone come in to fit some shelves but they fell on her, 20 minutes after the work was signed off. The outcome was a few stitches to her face and damaged computers for work use.
The person responsible for installing the shelves said they would come back, but haven't.
I'd like to know if public liability insurance is something you require from traders who sign up to your service, as a means of compensating for any damage caused whilst on a job.
