Nobody in our house can do DIY and as a result we have lots of smallish jobs available to tradespeople. We group them together, to try and make the job more appealing. But now what happens is I get six people to come, three turn up and if I'm lucky one of them quotes. I just posted a job on here, we had one respondent who used the words "don't worry I won't ghost you, I'll quote within 24 hours" and I haven't heard from him for three weeks. You keep nagging me to give him a rating, but how can I when he's not going to do the job for me? We have money, we have jobs that we need doing. We would like someone to do them. Is there anything else we can do to lure people in?
PS: I'm aware I sound like a very irritable person in this message but we're actually very nice, honest.
