Hi,as the guys have already stated, check fuses/circuit breakers,if you have any concerns post the job on rated people and get an electrician to look at your lighting.
Chances are that the lights are fed off a transformer which is wired between the light switch and the first lamp. If all lights are out then the chances are this will need replacing. If the lights are all mains voltage then you are likely to have a broken connection somewhere. Impossible to say on the information given.
First check your consumer unit/fuse box if you have a blown 5amp fuse or tripped 6amp circuit breaker if none of these have operated then you may have a break in the lighting circuit , its quite likely your circuit may have tripped out simply by a blown light bulb , the easy way to find the problem is to make sure all the light switches are in the off positions then reset the circuit breaker or mend your 5amp fuse if these blow again instantly then you need an electrician out .if not switch your light switches on one at a time if there's a fault the circuit will trip at the offending switch , short term remedy is to leave that switch off and try the others you should have at least one light working ...but at the moment I think your pproblem is a bulb has blown and tripped the circuit
More than likely trip switch it's easy for some to say to you to switch it back on but best investigate why it trip in the first place call a electrician
