I am currently in the process of purchasing a one bedroom third floor flat. Lounge/Kitchen 17sq M, bedroom 11sq M, bathroom 3 sq M. Hot water for shower & taps is provided by an Emerson heater/hot water cylinder switched on & off manually. Bedroom and lounge each have an electric heater operated manually. What would be the best alternative system. There is no access to gas. I would like the hot water and heating programmable and I would also like the facility to operate the heating and hot water remotely. Loosing the hot water cylinder would also free up some much needed cupboard room.
