My boiler makes an intermittent noise as it heats up which sounds like.its in pain. I had it diagnosed by an expert. They put a screwdriver in the gas valve and the noise went. Removed it and noise back. Would I be ok to leave something stuck in the gas valve until I can have it replaced?
