A new boiler was installed in a cottage 7 years ago but never used. The rads are old and had been flushed but again not used since the new boiler was installed. What kind of service would be required? Will the rads require reflushing. Will the boiler work? The tank is also full of oil that hasnt been used and looks clear and clean 7 years on (although I havent siphoned out oil from the bottom so I dont know if there is sludge and if it matters if the rest of the oil is clear). Would appreciate any advice from the experts on what to proceed and an estimate of what it should cost to get things going again. Many thanks.
