Indesit washing machine: Why is there now F05 error?

We carried out a routine clean of the filter for our indesit washing machine (there were no issues at that point other than a little dirt), but then we immediately started getting the F05 error near the end of each wash, which happens when water won't drain because it thinks the filter is blocked. But i rechecked the filter and around it again and there is no blockage. Why would we now be getting F05 error?
