Hello,
I am renovating my bathroom and have a Kerdi shower drain/kit with a 2" drain. The existing plumbing is 1 and 1/2" so I'm trying to figure out where I need to cut the pipe to install my adapter and 2" P-trap. The current horizontal pipe after the P-trap is about 1.5' below the subfloor - should I cut that and install a elbow adapter to 2" and go vertical closer to the subfloor and then horizontal for the new P-trap?
