Click Clack Waste Replacement

Posted by Jane C, on
I have a Click Clack waste on my bath, it became stiff and wouldn't release to empty the water, I turned and pried it to get it to release to no avail, eventually the waste came loose and completely came out in my hand. I've decided to get a new one but am miffed by what I need to get, do I just replace the waste piece (can I use a universal waste?), or do I need to replace the waste and overflow pipe. Additionally, the bath is freestanding, I've been told the overflow pipe has to be longer than normal (if indeed a waste and overflow are required) I've been told so many varying things, I'm now very confused. Please help
