I want to fit a 2bar shower pump to the hot water feed pipe from cylinder in airing cupboard. Is it just a case of fitting pump to feed pipe or is there more to it, I can't get my head around the fact that if flow rate from cylinder is increased by shower pump then water will be leaving cylinder faster than it is entering from gravity fed header tank and so water level in cylinder will fall so how does water reach outflow pipe which is at the top of the cylinder?
