What trade can remove a tree/shrub that is embedded within my garden wall?

Hi lesha, The easiest solution is to strip the wall around the tree and expose the roots. Then the roots should be removed and the wall reinstated. The trades that you require would be stonemason for the walling work and possibly a tree surgeon if the tree has " out stayed its welcome"! It may be possible for the masonry contractor to remove the roots if possible. In the case of creeping plants ivy e.t.c they should always be killed first and left to rot the removed the reason is that if you pull it off the structure it shall just start growing again . Always happy to advise Dave

Hi Lesha Depends if it a tree or a shrub ? If its a large tree then a tree surgeon first as you may need to grind the stump out. Then a bricklayer to re-instate your wall. f it's a shrub then a landscape gardener may be able to deal with the whole job. Hope this helps Mark Surrey Hills Landscaping
