Garden stone wall pushed over by large tree

Posted by Andrew Miller, on
I am unsure whether it would be best to have a section of the wall rebuilt with a bridging lintel to accommodate the tree root or have a fence installed to replace the section being forced over. The stone wall is 6.5' tall and 30' long but the section being forced over is right beside the garden gate and covers only 4' in length. Which trade should I use? I have tried putting the job out to stonemasons but have had no reply and a joiner isn't going to carefully deconstruct the stone wall to erect a fence. Builder? Please help!
