I have just moved into a house about 80 years old . It has a slabbed area at the rear that gently runs down towards the building and finishes with a solid concreted area hard against the building. When it rains standing water sits there until it dries up . Do you think I should get some sort of drain put in to drain away the standing water before it causes water damage as the water sits against the building.
