I had cheaper quotes, but Islington replied first and worked on a Sunday. Punctual and worked hard. Two Gripes, one while installing the fuse box, moved my alarm control and lost a screw (but didn't tell me) - so I had issues getting the alarm working. Two didn't completely clean up the mess, left me to bin waste, minor Yes would use again, as work was accurate and logical, which you need with electrics, came across as highly competent, labelled all the wires so nothing got lost (except the screw)

Brilliant job - I was hesitant to hire as there weren't any ratings, but once I spoke to Stavros it was clear that he was a very diligent and reliable guy. Came up with a clever solution that allowed us to install power outlets where others had told us installation would not be possible. Finished work was of a very high standard - would definitely use again.

I had some fencing replaced, some crazy paving taken up and gravel put down and a gate erected by these guys. The work was done to a great standard with minimum fuss and in a timely fashion. They do not use any sub-contractors so you know who you are dealing with throughout the project. The site was left clean and tidy too so I am more than happy to recommend SNC Building and Maintenance Service for similar jobs.

We had our bathroom totally redone by Remus and his guys. Not only was in bang on budget, they took exactly the amount of time they said it would, even by putting in some extra hours to get it finished off as promised. They were very communicative, keeping us informed throughout the project, and really went the extra mile. I've asked them to quote for more work in the future. Fouad and his team did a fantastic job of our Victorian gate and fence, replacing a decayed lock and painting the railings to look like new. He also refreshed our outhouse. Super service, polite, efficient and friendly service. We would definitely use again, thanks Fouad and the team!

Marbuild started off by fixing and replacing floorboards in our house but we were so impressed we called them back to take out or old and fit our new kitchen and convert our hallway to being longer. Our next door neighbours even ended up using them to do their hallway too. They are very reliable, punctual, friendly and got the job done as quickly as they can and go the extra mile by asking questions all the time to make sure what we were going to get is what we wanted. Would highly recommend them.

Excellent,excellent,excellent. Not often a tradesperson is happy to visit without cost to do an assessment of works required upfront and then give s reasonable quote and also explain possible options. Needed a new consumer unit (fuse box to us laypeople) to replace my ancient one and do an EICR. Based on the quote for the work I also added a hard wired for alarm and some smaller jobs as well. Very polite, cleaned up after the works as well. I have already recommended him to a number of friends.
