We are very pleased with the work that was done. There was a quick response to the job that day via a telephone call. An appointment was scheduled for a couple of days later and the work was started early that day & completed that same day. The workers were on time, polite, knowledgeable and proficient. They promised to make a visit a week later to remove the supportive structure and did exactly so yesterday. I am very pleased with the work and their professionalism.. i highly recommend them. Andris's work ethic is incredible, he has passion in his work everyday, always thinking about solutions rather than moaning about problems like so many other tradesmen. He has great communication skills, friendly manor and superior quality of work at a competitive price. I don't think there's anything he can't do!

Excellent high quality service. Both Jamie and Dave have done a fabulous job on refurbishing 2 bathrooms in an old property. Reliable honest and as good as their word - will be using them again in the future for other jobs. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

After a year of unlucky experiences with very poor builders to build a porch, Darren offered to finish the job for a very reasonable price, and did not request money in advance. The job took two extra days, but the cost stayed the same. The final result was well worth the hassle. He worked alone, completing all the jobs I requested. He advised on the final painting that I wanted to do myself. He is a very nice and conscientious guy. I definitely recommend him.

Aaron is a keen and very hard working general gardener who I tasked with blitzing my 1/3 acre garden which had become overgrown due to my ill health. He was very prompt and kept to agreed times and worked pretty solidly all the time he was onsite. I was presented with weekly invoices listing the hours done which to my view tended to be rounded down so I never felt more hours were being claimed than completed - in reality quite the reverse. Aaron is a general garden maintenance and tree maintenance operative and freely admits to not being a plantsman or hard landscaper. I needed 800 feet of hedges not just clipped but cut right back from where they had been allowed to grow unchecked for a season - this he did along with rooting up two large areas of overgrown shrubbery very efficiently. he also cut front and rear grass in an afternoon - quite a task when you realise my plot is largly grass and 430 foot in length. The Garden now looks neat and tidy and much larger, more open so the views from the house are now sweeping and a joy once more - the only point I would make is that his enthusiasm and sheer hard work tends to leave a few bits lying around but this is something I am able to sort myself - just a bit of final tidying and certainly if left would not detract from the hugely improved aesthetics all the hard work has delivered. Would I go back to G.M.F.? Definately - in fact I have two more "projects" lined up and have agreed on a 4 hour a week regular visit to keep all in order.

Stewart did a wonderful job with our bespoke lounge bookcases and built in cupboards. We had a few specific requirements (such as fitting a vinyl player on the space above the cupboard!) and he listened to what we wanted and built it. Stewart had lots of great ideas on how to maximise our space and we're really happy with the outcome. The units have made our lounge! I would highly recommend Stewart's work. Very fast to quote, responded quickly to our questions, moved some jobs around to fit us in as quickly as possible as the storm had made our garden completely open to the outside world. Came in, did the job within a couple of days, took all of the rubbish from the old fence away, staff were friendly and presentable and the fence seems to be good quality so overall very pleased. Would definitely use them again.
