Kevin turned up as arranged to assess job and followed up with a written quote. As with all building/repair work (especially on an old house) there were some teething problems, but Kevin listened and dealt with everything we discussed. We got the the work done that we needed and were very happy with service and attitude

Brian was excellent from start to finish. Very personable and a very neat worker, laying a protective covering over my hall carpet and stairs, which meant no mess on my carpets and floors. Speedy response. Get boiler replaced in 24 hours after quotation - faster than some paid emergency repair after a call. Professional PPE during pandemic. On time exactly as promised, with a phone call before arrival. Friendly, patient and positive when some objectives missing. Sheet covers floor during work. Tidy up the work place when finishing. After leaving had I noticed that even fixed a light in the kitchen which was not requested. Invoice payment requested on completion. Good value of pricing. Eric

Here at Commando Gas and Heating, I run a very professional service. I cover the installation, service and repair of all Domestic Gas Appliances. When It comes to gas, your safety is paramount. That is why I offer a safety checks in your home. If you book a boiler safety check I will also conduct a visual assessment of any other gas appliances. I also take on other jobs, I am happy to undertake plumbing work and will soon be offering electrical work including PAT testing. I am happy to take on handyman jobs such as building your flat pack furninture, fitting your intergrated appliances or hanging your tv wall mounts and installing your tv. There is no job to small or to big.

David and Sean were fantastic from start to finish when they installed a new combi boiler and removed an old hot water tank whilst replacing an old conventional boiler system. They also fitted an outside tap for me and replaced a leaky radiator. All work done to a very high standard and their communication before, during and after the job has been top class. I would happily recommend McQueen heating to friends, family and anybody else needing work done.

The reason for my ratings is as follows:- I’ve rated 3 stars for quality as he didn’t really do much to rate. I’ve rated 1 star for price as £65 for 25 minute job is really poor considering part was only few pounds. Wouldn’t recommend this company as very expensive, only reason we used them was struggling to find anyone else.
