Absolutely horrific experience. No quote was formally given beforehand. Ali refused to give a price/estimate for the works, he just said he would fix the leak at a “reasonable” price then the bill came to £600. My newly fitted bath panel got damaged during the repair works. Then after a few weeks a leak was spotted again in the same area which resulted in water damage to the newly renovated ceiling. Thousands of pounds went down the drain. Highly unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend them.

Greg built a front wall and laid paving in my front and back garden. He did a really good job, and it looks great. He was reliable, tidy, and really clear on things like costs and how the slabs would be laid so I knew exactly what I was getting. We have extensive experience of lime plastering, render and traditional materials such as lath and plaster and wattle and daub. We also undertake repointing and wall repairs with flint and clunch. I have an MSc in Building Conservation and can advise on many aspects of the care and renewal of traditional buildings whether listed or not. Dan did such a great job with our 17th century lime wall. Painstakingly removing the modern repair without damaging the surrounding plaster and then re-lathing and finishing with lime plaster. You can hardly see where the repair is even though we didn't skim the whole wall to preserve wall paintings. Very clean and tidy and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, highly recommended.
