Our build prerequisites were to divide a room & close an open archway, build two extra walls, move steps and a handrail, put in two entrances with doors for the new build and paint & carpet this area. Matthew (MDCC Construction) was qualified and very helpful – giving us good advice. He is an honest, tidy and thorough builder, willing to accommodate the building manager's questions and happy to make amendments. We were thrilled with the speed and finish of this build, and we will definitely use them again.

Arrived for the quote on time. Work started as first mentioned with scaffolding. Roof work delayed one day due to weather. Roof completed within 36 hours from start to finish. Fantastic work. Andy is very professional and knowledgeable. Prompt, friendly and very competitive prices. We are building a 2 storey side extension and Andy is doing all the building works. We have a very difficult set of footings which involves a line of trees close by. Foundations passed by Building Control with flying colours. Very satisfied and Andy will be quoting for other work I have planned and I am sure we will be working together for sometime now. Would recommend him to anyone.

I undertake all aspects of internal/external painting and decorating with a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service. Jae and Chubbs are nice enough guys and they did a reasonable job on the wallpapering, though there are a few areas in the room where the pattern has not been matched at all. However, be wary of drastic price changes halfway through the job, speed at which they work and also the amount of paper they waste - despite asking us to order more paper, the amount wasted is far beyond the 2 more rolls we ordered - adding a further £100 to our bill!
