George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

Had a window and front door fitted by Nation Windows. Overall the experience was good. The new fitting has made such a difference to our hallway. When they came to fit the window and door, Sunny and his fitters immediately put down dust sheets. We found them to do a clean job and were very polite throughout. We are very happy with the completion of the porch project. Nicholas and Ben were very helpful throughout the entire project suggesting some tweaks and changes that enhanced the overall project. They were particularly helpful when it came to selecting the timber as we originally wanted dried oak. The oak was particularly poor quality (Nicholas sent us images from the timber merchants) and advised us to go with Douglas Fir. They were very tidy and cleared up at the end of each day.
