We contacted Mr Bone in April and paid him a 50% deposit (£1000) after he quoted a 5 week lead time. He kept postponing the date until in September we cancelled the job and asked for our money back. Despite receiving £200 he again failed to live up to promises to repay the remainder. We have issued a small claims court order and also a county court judgment against Mr Bone. A very disappointing experience

Had a window and front door fitted by Nation Windows. Overall the experience was good. The new fitting has made such a difference to our hallway. When they came to fit the window and door, Sunny and his fitters immediately put down dust sheets. We found them to do a clean job and were very polite throughout. All I asked to be built was 4 drawers (not even the full drawer cabinet) He just needed to put in the screws correctly. It lasted 3 days then fell apart - when I looked again i saw he missed/lost screws and didn’t tell me (and thats why the drawers fell apart). I found some of the screws laying around the working area the next day. When trying to discuss with him to fix it over a calm phone call he screamed at me in frustration and anger but I was the one who paid for a job that had not been done!?
