George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. An excellent team of craftsmen who took our design and created an extrordinary effect in a tiny space. They consulted about everything and were flexible in the job. They kept within the price of their original estimate.
I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.

We had our wooden back door replaced for a new uPVC one on 21/10/11 and were very pleased with the job. Communication was excellent - he came and measured the door and provided a price the following day, which was very competitive, as well as a choice of installation dates. Very punctual and tidy, completing the job in a few hours and taking the old door away leaving no mess. We've since requested a quote for new windows which seemed very reasonable. Would recommend.
