I was impressed how Amir took the job very quickly - he arrived to work a few hours after seeing the post. He was very friendly and polite and was happy to take the job. However, I really would not recommend him for carpentry work. This was an easy job, where the carpentry was already done and it just needed fitting. He arrived with the wrong tools (had to use mine) and very poorly fitted the cupboards and shelves, to the extent I had to pay another tradesperson to fix the job. The finish was awful.

Danny's work was excellent, he managed to get a 25 year-old patio door repaired, painted and working like new. He also replaced an old gate with a lovely new one. He was on time, kept to the budget, hard working, polite, offered useful advice to any problems that arose. And cleaned up after himself every day. Mel was the locksmith. He turned up slightly early. I like that, saves wondering if anyone will turn up. Confirmed by text on the day prior to visit. Fitted the lock and asked me to test it. It worked fine, and he left. I couldn't really ask for more.

They are highly proficient across all the building disciplines so don't need to sub contract out any of the work, This means that the project runs incredibly smoothly and at a very competitive budget. I had my front door replaced and found Paul of S2L Contractors to be very friendly, tidy and on time. No money was asked for up front which tells me lots and i was kept informed on any progress with my request. My flat was left as clean & tidy when work was complete.
