Archie was fantastic. He deserves the five stars given. Not only did he come in at the budget provided, but communicated several times and promptly on text and email. He arrived on time and even though we had supplied him with what a keylock company had said we needed - it was wrong - he went out and got the correct locks that were needed for the job and never charged extra or anything. He sent us an invoice after the job and we paid him. Simple. What a joy to get 5 star service in the current climate.

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I asked Simon to paint the inside of my house and all woodwork and ceilings. I did say the kitchen and bathroom didn't need doing, so they didn't paint the bathroom door oneighbour the inside but that was part of the woodwork so you have to be specific about what you ask to be done. Also he said he would come back to look at things I wasn't happy with, I emailed him twice but he never came back.

Karl arrived on time having made a 'phone call to me first. I found him to be very personable and pleasant. He seemed to be more keen to do the job properly than to make a load of money out of it. He voluntarily spent a great deal longer than was originally anticipated and came back the next day with some materials which he had to buy to finish the job off. His conscientiousness was refreshing in these days of people rushing to get to the next job. I'd use him again if the opportunity arises.
