So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

They were particularly helpful when it came to selecting the timber as we originally wanted dried oak. The oak was particularly poor quality (Nicholas sent us images from the timber merchants) and advised us to go with Douglas Fir. They were very tidy and cleared up at the end of each day. Would highly recommend.

After a year of unlucky experiences with very poor builders to build a porch, Darren offered to finish the job for a very reasonable price, and did not request money in advance. The job took two extra days, but the cost stayed the same. The final result was well worth the hassle. He worked alone, completing all the jobs I requested. He advised on the final painting that I wanted to do myself. He is a very nice and conscientious guy. I definitely recommend him.
