Posted my job which needed doing asap , Stuart called up and arranged a time to come and quote. He turned up on time when he said he would. He came across very professional , gave a good quote and was able to fit me in a few days later. He then turned up before 7am on the day he was due to start with another lad. Karl was a nice guy, came up with a reasonable quote and worked through some modifications to the quote, however, I was unable to hire him as he refused to have any kind of written agreement / contract confirming the terms of the work. It’s a shame, because I wanted to work with Karl but wasn’t willing to spend so much money with nothing specific in writing.

First class service indeed. Came when he said he would to look at the work to be done. Talked me through in plain English what was necessary and gave me a quote which was accepted immediately. He then arrived promptly on the day and carried out the work superbly and cleared everything up so that you hardly knew he's been here. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

I asked Ali to quote for new internal doors and a stud wall; this was quickly prepared and I accepted. Ali advised me of the best suppliers and once delivery of the doors was confirmed he got on with the work. All work is to a very high standard and I am extremely pleased with my new doors. I will not hesitate to recommend Ali and will be using him again in the new year for further improvements.
