He said he could do work done 2 days just up and left and said he would text me Thursday and would come on Friday and now I am left with work half done as he said he has right to council contract at any time so if I was anyone on here I would not hire as he is a con man I have contacted trading standers as he as used all my pipes and half done work and now saying we have threaten him he meant to have recorded but can't prove it so I would not hire as he told me he could do it but cause another job has call

Very pleased with newly installed sliding patio doors. The 2 gentlemen who installed it, were polite,friendly and helpful. They left the area clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the lock, and they duly reported it to Louis Harbison. He came today to replace it but the barrel of the lock seems ok now. He is keeping the replacement barrel in case I have any more trouble. I would recommend this company for any work to be done

Wayne undertook the construction of a single storey, ground floor extension for us in Exeter. Our architects design & subsequent structural engineers specification, wasn't without complications & I think everyone did a little head scratching! Nevertheless, Wayne & his team found solutions. They had to deal with delays in the steel production, some atrocious weather and lots of questions from us, but never complained! As a consequence, Wayne will be landscaping our garden too!

James did a really good job for the house we’d just bought. The floors were all painted and really ugly, and he sanded them back to the wood and left them looking really nice. He even returned free of charge to fix a problem of “grain raising” which had left the boards a bit rough to the touch and occurred a few days after he’d finished, due to moisture in the space. He was friendly, considerate and empathic, a really pleasant guy to have around and to be involved in our renovation project.

Sam built the brick and block walls and roof for our 40m2 first floor extension. The first thing he did was point out that a previous builder we had in had used the wrong bricks, then he found us the right ones. A good start. Always quiet, considerate, unflustered and a good choice of music. Very good at cleaning up afterwards. Brickwork is excellent: the window fitters commented on the accuracy of the openings. The price was good and was as quoted, so no nasty surprises. Highly recommended.

Gary shepherd and his team worked conscientiously to provide the best service possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always polite and a pleasure to work with. They always turned up on time and kept me informed regarding progress of the project. I have no reservation in recommending him and his team.

Massive job to clear very overgrown garden. Barrie and his team were brilliant from initial contact, discussion of how job would proceed to timescale. Throughout kept fully informed and just excellent customer service. Job completed and couldn’t be better. If you need help use Oaklands Landscapes; you won’t find better.

Andy was very responsive to the job request. He arranged a quick inspection of the work and was then available soon after to carry it out. Provided a fixed quote and a guarantee. Came 3pm Friday to view job, very reasonable quote. Arrived 9.15am Saturday & job was all done & finished by 11.30am. Very nice guy. Highly recommend this company. No frills, did exactly what was required.
