tricky job successfully carried out efficiently and competently
I’m Zack Woods, a self-employed carpenter with 6 years of experience in the construction industry. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside professional carpenters with over 40 years of expertise, learning and refining my skills through a variety of projects. I have completed a variety of projects from crafting small structures like chicken coops to building entire houses. I am not only experienced in carpentry but also skilled in landscaping and operating heavy machinery like diggers for foundation work. Recently, I completed a project building an outdoor garden office, managing every part of the job from start to finish. On this project I did the digger work for the foundations, building the timber frame, putting the roof on, insulation, plaster board and plastering, metal and wooden cladding, flooring, windows and door fitting to the finishing touches of making shelves and putting the TV on the wall. I was very impressed with Steve and his team of builders.They worked hard and followed my requirements to produce a very professional finish to my new wall. They took great care to clean up after the job was finished and discussed what they were doing with neighbours to ensure everyone was happy with the progress and finished results. Even wit a period of bad weather they still managed to finish on schedule.

They turned up without any materials and we had difficulty getting any. The fence has been put up in a bad way with short posts, and screws dangerously protruding through to next door. My old patio was not taken up as quoted, and new slabs were laid over the top. It is not level and slopes forward & sideways with a bump in the middle. Slabs are uneven, the built step has all broken away, as there is little support under it. And the grouting has gaps and different grouts used. Too many other probs to list.

We offer a complete service of renovations from small bathroom revamps to complete house renovations. We have fully qualified tradesmen with niceic for electrical works and gas safe for plumbing. All our work is carried out to a very high standard with a 12 month warranty.
Hired paul to reconfigure my kitchen. He did not complete the job and walked out after 3 weeks leaving numerous jobs unfinished. Many things they did have had to be redone, the finish was shoddy and I don't think he knows what a right angle is. Would obviously not recommend, other tradesmen that have seen his workmanship have told me to report him to trading standards. He left me with a half finished job, saying he was not able to achieve the level of finish I was looking for.
