George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Al turned up exactly as planned and worked very hard at the job. He went to a lot of trouble to match up flooring and skirting - very neat work. He also tidied up after work, so there was minimal finishing for me to do. The electrician he worked with was similarly excellent. I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.
