Mark of MJWD provided a competitive quote for the refurbishment of my garden which involved re-fencing, soil removal, full paving and associated drainage and also creation of steps. While carrying out the work, amendments were needed to achieve the desired end result which required additional materials and labour - these were discussed and competitive quotes for these additional works agreed as we went along. Matthew and I agreed an hourly rate for weekly and initially he turned up each week, sometimes also with his son. This doubled the agreed rate but they did a good job while they were here. After 5 almost-weekly visits, they stopped turning up. Matthew did not respond to any messages asking if he was all right or if there was a problem. I see that other reviewers have mentioned problems with communication and I now realise that perhaps this is not the first time Matthew has let down his clients.

In 2022, Sonny did an excellent job repairing the roof. In 2023, his team replaced the entire roof and the shed roof, sealed an area of flat roof, replaced guttering and down pipes, and repainted the outside of the windows. Despite the dust, they were a pleasure to have around!

We were held up a few days by the weather initially, but once things were underway I was very happy with how things progressed. Gerasimos did a floor fitting for me in a bathroom and hallway. He did an excellent job. The hallway has 4 doors and he dealt with this really well, he followed every small detail and curve. He is very meticulous and the finishes are immaculate. If you have any other issues in the house he gives advice. He is tidy and cleans before he leaves. He is very calm and polite. I would recommend him to everyone and definitely use his services again.
