George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. we are a small family run business specialising in Handyman Services, Bathroom and Kitchen refurbishments and repairs, small plastering and tiling jobs and general outside building and fence/gate repairs and replacement.
In summary, he took the tiles out and put panels but the shower frame is is leaking in two places, the shower head is twisted and not centred, head/cover of on/off shower valve is loose, he left towel rail leaking, did not fix the leak of toilet, he broke the on/off valve when trying to put it back and the towel rail valve so we had to buy new ones. We paid him £600, £100 by bank transfer and £500 he wanted cash. And now he is not answering the phone and not replying messages. It's been months now. Terrible

At MCR pointing we treat every job as it’s our own property. With 20 years of experience and extensive knowledge on various mortars and pointing methods. When the mortar becomes deteriorated it is necessary for the building to be re pointed. We grind the old mortar out using a 5 inch grinder complete with a diamond disk to ensure clean cut to top and bottom of the joint. Then we point the brickwork/stone using either sand and cement or a lime mortar, with different finishes to suite the client.
Arrived early and completed the job quickly and without any issues, tidied site before leaving, a job well done!
