George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. I hired William to do some tricky jobs in a small space, blocking off a door and using the other side of the partition to create a book shelf to make use of the space. There were additional works for hanging doors, moving the position of a door and building a new frame, fitting architraves, awkward skirting board replacement etc. William and his son did an absolutely amazing job and he will now be our go-to joiner for any woodwork needed in our house. I contacted Micheal he came when he said he would ,gave me a quote in two days i aceptpted the quote ,said he had a job to Finnish. 5 weeks later I was contacting him regular sometimes I heard back other I did not ,he funnalky gave me a date to start 19 th June then to be told July I first counted him on the second week of May .he new we wanted job done before we went in holiday ,I had to ask fir money back and start again . I was really hurt as I really like him and there was only £100 difference
is it not customary to remove any rubbish from the job? it certainly used to be. and it is NOT customary to leave the client's toilet with large lumps of plaster in it.
