P & L have just completed today(9/10/24) our bathroom makeover & we are absolutely delighted with the work done. This was to remove existing floor tiles , prepare for new ones & fit & grout replacements. Then to fit a toilet bowl plus seat. All done in budget and to the timescale promised. Sinevir did a solid job on our exterior walls. They paid particular attention to prepping the surfaces—cleaned and degreased everything thoroughly and were careful with the details. They even dug down around the foundation to insulate below ground level, and didn’t charge anything extra for it, which was a nice surprise. They also managed to rework all the ventilation and drainage pipes neatly and precisely, making sure everything was well-fitted and tidy. It’s clear they know what they’re doing and don’t

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

Having left school with the determination to be the best painter and decorator possible, I went to St Albans college then on to a specialist wallpaper hanging and special effects course. I then went straight out into the world of self-employment. Although this was, (and still is) my preferred way to spend time I soon realised the tilers around me were earning more than I was. So, back to college I went to learn how to tile. Fast forward to 1990 when off I went again on my own. By 1992 I had a small team working with me on commercial and residential projects and now with over 30 years experience in the trade I know that it costs no more to give perfection than to give second best.... and that's what we offer. We have extensive experience with all sizes of tile from large format (2400 x 1200) to mosaics including all popular sized ceramics, natural stone and porcelain. We are quite happy taking on large floor areas down to small bathrooms. Whilst we pride ourselves in the quality of our workmanship we are extremely competitively priced. We recognise that you will live with the tiles you have chosen for many years. The way they are installed and the quality of the finish is vital. When it comes to bathroom refitting, because it is so stressful trying to organise all the trades needed for the job, we carry out the complete bathroom refurbishment works using our own plumbers and tilers (and decorator) to bring together the perfect finish.
We used Nick (arcitile) twice. On both occasions Nick viewed the jobs and we explained our requirements. He went away to work his quotes out, and then sent them to us. After the first job was completed, we were invoiced for more money than originally quoted. The same thing happened on the second job, this time there was an approximate increase of 40% from the original quote. We would NOT recommend this contractor to you.
