Never again. The quoted price doubled. Although he does trees every day, Matthew' said my photograph was misleading and this was a much bigger job. He pruned the tree for the price. But wanted nearly twice as much to take the waste away. Or £70 extra to gather and chop into modest sized pieces. I felt so betrayed I just wanted him off the premises. Am now buying a chainsaw to be able to dispense with the waste myself.

Local to me (NorthLondon) and came and did the job (clearing a drainpipe and the climbing plant that was blocking it) within a couple of hours of my posting. They also did an inspection of nearby eaves and roof and pointed out a couple of things that were slowly falling into disrepair. Whilst they offered to fix them, they did not put me under any pressure to have the extra work done as it was non-urgent.
