Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. We are happy to quote anything, bespoke is my passion. If you can’t get someone to build it, we can! Please feel free to browse photos of my work, I will try upload a little bit of everything. Updated review for 2024: Hired Mark to plaster my hallway and stairs. The stairs and ceiling are okay but the hallway is shoddy workmanship which is uneven and has trowel marks in it. Mark has unfotuntely refused to come back and told me I am just 'making a fuss'. I feel like he got his money so, now isn't interested in doing the decent thing - shame on you Mark. DO NOT HIRE IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH FINISH!

Matthew accepted to paint my front and garage doors at short notice in October when others had refused because of cold weather. He came and worked through the day, sanding and painting the frames, sanding and painting the doors and even adding a lick of varnish to my front step. Knocked a star off just because the oil paint on the inside of the frames didn’t quite dry properly, although it’s still OK. Overall, I’m very happy.

Just had a hallway and a room skimmed, price was in line with other quotes. Upon starting work I found Ian polite and easy to communicate with, he is a very tidy worker and the quality of work is very good. I am very pleased with the result. I left Ian a key to the house as I had to go to work which he posted through the letter box every night, proving his honesty aso there were nonly issues. I will definitely be asking him to complete any further plastering I need in the future.
