I have been in the trade for 22 years. I worked for dulux before I set up on my own 10 years ago. I undertake all aspects of internal/external painting and decorating with a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service. I put a job up get quoted £180 for Wednesday... Actually we can't do Wednesday we'll do Thursday. Thursday- we are running behind we'll be with you first thing Friday. I'm asked again what's there. I offer to send pictures. Actually the price is £250. If it's half van the price £180, full van price £250... first time mentioning that. So after messing about for days now I'm expected to find an extra £70. I just cancelled. Friday was my last day. Whose to say they'd turn up! Went with someone else who did.
