Barry came out to give the quote when he said he would. Really nice chap. Gave him the job. He and his "mate" (can remember the other guys name), came out when they said they would. Did a good job, and tied up behind themselves. I'd use Barry again.

Gavin was the only builder who responded but he still gave me a competitive quote and was able to start as soon as I wanted. I am very pleased with his work. He did the job and did a good clear-up afterwards.

I chose SJS as Scott was very professional in his approach and was really thorough in making sure the job was done well, without mess, to time and budget. I have used other plasterers before but wouldn't recommend them but with Scott I would definitely use him again for future work and recommend him to friends and family.

Lewis and his team did a very good job with restoring bricks on my old Victorian house. Painted with all kind of paint by previous owner. Lewis knew exactly what is the best way to clean it off and the result exceeded my expectation. Very good re-pointing and prefect colour match of the mortar mixing 3 different types of sand I have never heard of. Also keeps you updated regarding progress and plan for the next day. Punctual and reliable. I am very happy with the result and will certainly use him again.

Lee Charles recently finished my new driveway, steps and walls which included brickwork, omega blocks and sandstone tiles. Lee's work was professional and thorough throughout and he took time over even the smallest details on the project. Matt & Dean of MDG Building are two of the very best builders you could have. They are a breathe of fresh air. I hired Lee for this job and he did an outstanding job in replacing this door. He was very careful in removing the old door and worked through quite in detail to custom make the replacement door to ensure it is done to a very high standard and excellent finish. The windows company was very quick, the staff contacted me, came to look at it, and then took it to its office, they fixed it and came to install it, and was brilliant, took him 3hrs, compared to the company that kept me “dancing” for 3weeks…..

Reliable, respectful and quality. Absolutely fantastic work. Door installation including frame was a perfect fit, used his ideas well to recommend best position.
