He agreed to finish some work for us with a view to signing off the job he came twice, charged for the work both times which we immediately paid him for then went silent. We cannot get hold of him and he is completely ignoring us. Having been told various stories over the last few weeks as to why he couldn’t come, he has now decided it’s acceptable to ignore us. We would never have used him for the work he has done if he hadn’t promised to finish the job. He’s unprofessional and dishonest.

About me i have over 12 years in the trade and started my own company in 2019 as I was working for a company doing shop fitting there was no room for progression so I started my own business in joinery. Last year my company went limited I’ve done over 5 years in college and university I have my level 2 & 3 in carpentry and joinery (city and guilds) and I also have my degree in construction management (Bsc). I’m new to this platform but not new in the trade I have an eye for detail and no corners are cut I aim to do a job as though it was my own. arrived on time, came to carry out an annual service of 3 air conditioning units. Explained the job and took pictures to show what further work needed to be done. returned to site the following day to complete the job and carry out a deep clean of the air conditioning units (this although originally unplanned was definitely needed i have asked for a quote for additional units for the site
