Excellent visit from Kevin and Phil yesterday to carry out maintenance work on our 14 Velux windows. They did a thorough job of cleaning and lubricating the hinges and mechanisms, and solved issues we had opening a couple of the windows. They were polite, informative and left everything in perfect shape. And very good value for money. Highly recommended.

I chose SJS as Scott was very professional in his approach and was really thorough in making sure the job was done well, without mess, to time and budget. I have used other plasterers before but wouldn't recommend them but with Scott I would definitely use him again for future work and recommend him to friends and family.

John did a very good job lining the walls in two rooms, hall and landing. Also in making good some nasty cracks in walls and ceilings, and some external painting. He charged a very fair price, and I have asked him to come back to do some further external woodwork redecoration. Thanks John.

The job was well done and the original estimate was reasonabkle. An unforeseen problem arose during the work. John of Home Solutions UK kept me informed and dealt with the matter at the least extra cost. In the end it was still a job well done at a reasonable price. Joe Matthews

I hired Lee for this job and he did an outstanding job in replacing this door. He was very careful in removing the old door and worked through quite in detail to custom make the replacement door to ensure it is done to a very high standard and excellent finish. I highly recommend Lee as a carpenter.

Jim agreed to tackle a very difficult job - putting a VERY heavy liner (Wallrock) on a ceiling to cover a crack in the ceiling. Over the course of three days he turned up on time and got on with the work. The results are excellent - far exceeding our expectations. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jim (and have already done so to a number of friends). If you are looking for a real professional - at a competitive price - he's your man..and very clean & tidy..and a nice guy to boot. Richard
