Jon from Fox Plastering did a brilliant job plastering over 6 different artex ceilings and walls in 4 rooms in our bungalow. He also did some painting and skimmed an outside wall too. Phil is an excellent tradesman - we had him replace some skirting boards, door frames and picture rails in 2 rooms. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. Job done in a friendly and considerate way, and we liked the result. Issues which arose (e.g. water coming through ceiling below two evenings after they'd left) were rectified, and snags at the end were dealt with promptly. Cleaning up was fairly good but not perfect - tiles needed quite a bit of further scraping, scouring and buffing to remove traces of grout and adhesive. But altogether perfectly satisfied that we got what we paid for.
I've been in the trade for 25 years. I cover all aspects of plastering, artexing, coving, plasterboarding, . . i trained in the skill of plastering at the building skills centre in yeovil. i trained in the skill of artexing at artex ltd in newhaven.

Craig and Jay were great, reliable and very flexible. We had our downstairs ceilings skimmed and kitchen replastered prior to new units. They worked well with other trades, were good humoured, and did a good job. A very reasonable price. Would happily recommend and will have back when we do upstairs ceilings.
