I had initial doubts about using this website to find good tradesmen. But DIR Solutions have changed my mind. communication was excellent and they were able to complete the task and exceed my expectations. This was a very difficult task and will be calling on them regularly to do other jobs in the future. It is a pity that i am unable to post before and after photos of this job on this website. Thanks to this company, I can now access a portion of my garden that was totally swamped by errant thorn bushes..

We hired Neil to plaster our lounge. Unfortunately he has left us with an uneven ceiling and at the time of payment it was difficult to see the finished job whilst the plaster was wet. We had a painter and decorator out to finish our room and he remarked about the finish. We phoned Neil and he did return, he also agreed the job was not up to standard. He offered to re do the room, however the painter had finished the room, so we asked Neil for a partial refund. After many phone calls this has not happened.

The job was good, he did extra work for us, but what let it down was that he didn't register the work with the Building Regulations and the Council. And had to ask and chase up so many times for the Part P Certificate and I still didn't receive it from him. He is very good for doing electrical jobs , but don't expect him to register it with council.

Scott refitted our small main bathroom. He offered helpful advice and alternative ideas which were most helpful. Scott was pleasant at all times. His quote was very fair and he was always punctual. We felt at ease to leave Scott with a key while we were at work. When a slight issue arose requiring attention outside of Scott's working schedule, he came to our rescue! He even changed over a tap in another bathroom at very short notice, We recommend Scott and would be very happy to use Scott's services again.

On day of job the electrician arrived 10 minutes earlier than expected-that doesn't happen often. He looked a lot younger than I had expected. I had expected to have to buy a new fuse box. I was losing power frequently. He carefully checked all circuits. Then announced the fault was outside. The outside switch to an outside light was full of water. Dale, did a first class job fitting a toliet and sink in a very small space within a bedroom. Building a partition wall around it. Challenging job, but he did it so well! Also speedy and cleaned the messy up. I would highly recommend .
