Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

George and his team did a superb job at our house. His punctuality and communication have been outstanding; he always replies very quickly to messages and sent us countless videos of his work to keep us updated. He gave us some very fair and informed advice on how to tackle extra problems with our roof. His invoices were very detailed and clear and competitively priced. Fully recommended! Came around and got measurements, went away and sent over quote for the job very quickly. Had another that was q touch cheaper however, from the conversation I had, believed that the job would be of a better quality through D&S and was glad with my decision. Work completed efficency and to a high standard. Very happy with the job done and would recommend

came to do quote , seemed professional and rep, but then had to chase him up! He said he was just waiting on materials to come and said he’d be in touch soon as he had materials and said he’d be round the following week to carry out work. When I messaged just to confirm him coming he ignored my message and didn’t bother doing the job ! Very unprofessional!

Jerome and his team completed the ivy removal on 24 Oct. and sent invoice on 25th. I paid within 48 hrs. The invoice email promised further quotes for the wall repairs in 'a couple of days'. I chased the further quotes on 5th Nov. 12th, 18th 24th and 27th. I have had no further communication. The job is only half complete and I am left to find a new tradesman. I leave readers to draw their own conclusions.

after speaking to Cassandra from Rated people I have decided that the public need to know that Adam Radcliffe is a smoothe talker who knowingly has not applied k-rend to the specified manufacturers requirements and therefore the certificate for guarantee cannot be issued

Duncan and team completed a double extension, interior remodelling and modernisation and ground works for new patio and driveway. This is a great team to have on your project. Everything finished to a good standard, problems solved where they arise and advice offered on finishes, such as patio slabs, fixtures and fittings. Overall they’ve done a great job and I would highly recommend.

Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality. Guys who carried out the work very polite and discussed what they were doing if anything needed consulting on to make sure I was happy.

Hired this tradesperson all went well for a short time - his team walked out on him and he could not get the appropriate trades to complete various stages of the build - after complaining about the constant delays he stated he would not come back and is now in breech of his contract- due to his inability to obtain the relevant tradespeople his plumbing “expertise” has now caused a leak underneath our newly fitted kitchen floor! Which we are having to pay to repair! Disgraceful!

Our garage conversion took approximately four weeks and it is miraculous what Jon’s team have achieved in a truly professional, friendly and extremely helpful/tidy way. The builders - John and Alvin worked very well together; the electricians worked very quickly and tidily; the plumbers and kitchen fitters have given us a delightful utility room; the painters and decorators have left it immaculate. Couldn’t be happier with the work -would recommend Jonathan Carr’s Wye Valley Home Improvements to anyone.

Lee and Chloe were fantastic. They built a decking area for us which has transformed the garden. The quality of their work is excellent and their work ethic is superb. Mark did a great job fitting our new gas boiler. He was reliable and worked hard to get the job done on time. Mark was professional and accomodating throughout and his building skills came in very handy in making good following the removal of our old boiler, meaning that we didn't have to find a seperate builder to do that side of things.
