We are 4th generation of decorator's, luckily most of our work is through word of month, we rarely advertise. We have been on rated books for over four years and hardly ever need to use their scheme, such is our workload! But as self employed traditional painters and plasterers we do become short of work sometimes. We are not toshers, so never work for estate agents looking for quick tosh outs. We do things properly, as taught by the old City and Guilds, so you get a good long lasting finish

He was also very flexible to my requests and went beyond what I had requested by painting an area of stairway which looked marked - at no additional cost. He also included the ceilings in the price. First time I've engaged a tradesman after becoming a homeowner. Explained exactly what needed to be done and why (shows me evidence of various bit clogging up thanks to limescale) kept me informed when he was going to be late (this was down the snowy conditions) all work done on time and as expected things work so much easier now. Left the flat in a good clean condition afterwards.
