I have been a carpenter since I could lift my Dad’s hammer aged 3! The picture is my late Dad Roy Gilbert , the best teacher I ever had, pictured with my son Alex, the future of our company and a complete tach head! From the age of 14 working through the school holidays , to full time for the past 25 years self-employed. Working around the London and Home Counties of Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire based in Denham with easy access to the M40 and M25 I am ideally located with my own equipped workshop. We specialise in outdoor living spaces in the garden, the extra space has become a place to escape the kids, the TV or the other half! Call it a man cave or Avalon or just a shed we create the space for you and your family to escape. I have built garden studios from scratch or put together flat packs, the choices are endless, with decks and chill out zones for BBQ’s and other events . It’s like your own home from home in the garden. The interior space of the second house can be customised any way you want, flat screen TV ,Sound system, recording Studio, sound proof practice studio for wanna be Phil Collins’ or Ginger Baker’s!! With social distancing and all the restrictions imposed on us, this is the ideal area to exploit, however large or small. The job was completed quickly, they cleaned the whole flat over the course of just the morning and successfully removed the stains from the carpets. The price was reasonable for the work and all the work was done to a high standard. I would recommend their services and potentially contract them again in future.
I'm a self employed joiner& carpenter with over 30years experience. I have my own workshop where I make bespoke joinery including fitted bedroom furniture, bookcases,vanity units, doors, windows, gates and any other Joinery to a high standard of quality. All joinery can be fully finished ie spray painted or stained and lacquered or oiled . I can also machine timber mouldings, period skirtings and architraves etc. I also undertake other general carpentry work including wood flooring , door hanging, kitchen wortops , skirting etc..
