Alan, was punctual and did a great job replacing some water damaged flooring, fitting new skirting and building a box for a consumer unit which looks really good.

Stuart did a fantastic job. He was polite, tidy and very helpful in discussing the best way to approach the job. Keiran did that rare thing of turning up exactly when he said he would. Tidy and friendly, and reasonably priced. He removed a glass pane from door and fitted wooden replacement before installing cat flap - looks smart and exactly what I wanted; he also installed MDF shelves in a walk in cupboard - not exactly complex, but affordable and exactly what I needed.

We had a fantastic experience with Jim. His quote was very reasonable, about half the price of some of the other builders. He is a very lovely, genuine guy & also extremely reliable. Turned up on site promptly every day & finished the job (downstairs extension plus a dormer window upstairs) very quickly - the whole lot was done in about 3 months. He talked us through every step & made sure we were well informed. It all came in on budget & he was very honest with his costs & timescales. Highly recommend!

I am very pleased with the service recieved from Alex. He quicky provided a competitive quote and arranged to get the work done on a Saturday morning. It involved the repair of an external door and he moved other jobs around so he could get to this sooner because it affected the security of the building. The repair looks great and he has painted the door frame for us. Alex even agreed to adjusting a door closer whilst there at no extra charge. I will use McLaurin Joinery again.

Sandy is a fantastic tradesman, he's very friendly, a great communicator and turns up exactly when he says he is going to. He gave us a detailed and realistic quote. In fact we asked him for a quote on another job in the house too. For the repair itself, he did a very good job, and sent me photos in progress. A small crack appeared during the 'curing' process and Sandy came back, fixed the crack and was happy to do so. It has been a couple of weeks since the job was done and our wall is looking lovely!
