We chose to use A&M Carpenter for the refurbishment of the bar in our village hall. The bar serves many purposes so the design had to be very flexible as well as give a good feel to the room and the Hall in general. A&M Carpenters has made us a bar that far exceeded our expectations both in terms of final appearance and quality of products. We can only give A&M Carpenters our highest recommendations. We found Kurt to be reliable, hard working and really easy to deal with. He put us in touch with another contact too, and together they worked as a team to re-build and fit our kitchen exterior wall with new bi-fold doors. Kurt also helped prepare our chimney for a new wood burning stove - overall a great job and the work of a high quality. Highly recommended - thank you!

Ian and Peter were extremely adept at identifying the issues with the wiring of our kitchen, providing a quote with a fast turnaround. On the day of the fix, the two of them were professional, polite and personable, sorting the issue and explaining what the issue was and what steps had been taken to rectify the problem. Can't recommend them enough!

I can’t rate Andy highly enough. As a landlord living 200miles from the property Andy was in great communication with me every step of the way with discussions on the phone, drawings by email and videos of the job by WhatsApp. He’s punctual, competitively priced and a really nice person to deal with.

matt did kitchen worktops for me. his work is to the highest standard, and i shall not hesitate in calling him again. as a local builder myself i shall recommend him to others. the job i asked him to do for me, was not straight forward, quite a few complications, but he overcame them all to do an excellent job.

He agreed a fixed price for fixing the toilet that evening which was half of what other plumbers have suggested and it did not matter how long it took fix the toilet. He arrived on time. It was comfortable to have him around the house with young children. There was a problem with the rubber seal as well as the original issue. He still stuck with his original charge agreed on Friday evening and only charged me extra for parts. He's very honest and I would not hesitate to call him again.

Graham arrived exactly when he said he would, with all the necessary materials to lay our bathroom slate floor and ceramic wall tiles. He then fixed a plasterboard problem that was not his to fix, before getting on with his tiling job. He worked 4 days solidly, right through to Sunday, to complete the job to our deadline, without any complaint or extra weekend charge. Our tiles look beautiful and I can't wait to use our new bathroom. I wish our builder was as helpful and reliable!! Thank you Graham.

First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year.
