Dave did a great job. He came to see us and recommended an alternative plan, (which was cheaper). He arranged to do the job, arrived on time and stayed until the job was completed. Tidied up. Polite and reliable. Would definitely contact again :))

We chose to use A&M Carpenter for the refurbishment of the bar in our village hall. The bar serves many purposes so the design had to be very flexible as well as give a good feel to the room and the Hall in general. A&M Carpenters has made us a bar that far exceeded our expectations both in terms of final appearance and quality of products. We can only give A&M Carpenters our highest recommendations. Sam was just amazing. We had a major loft conversion and house extension done. At first we just asked him to refit the existing kitchen, which he did brilliantly. Then we asked him to build fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms. After that there were a dozen small joinery jobs such as building shelf units at the ends of the baths, boxing in pipes etc. And there was tiling. Everything was done to a very high quality, very quickly, with creative input, and at a very reasonable price. Sam is strongly recommended.

matt did kitchen worktops for me. his work is to the highest standard, and i shall not hesitate in calling him again. as a local builder myself i shall recommend him to others. the job i asked him to do for me, was not straight forward, quite a few complications, but he overcame them all to do an excellent job.

Very keen to impress however could not assist with plumbing side of things and had to get friend to assist which delayed tiling. Ensure you know exact tiles you purchase and get leftovers as overpriced and took away edging tiles, if i hadnt challenged. Floor tiles uneven and grout continually comes out. Wall tiles good. Nice tradesman but because of some hiccups would not recommend to a friend. Cannot fault his hard work and enthusiams to please though.

We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. The work completed to an excellent standard well within the parameters in my Rated People enquiry. Matt Belchamber did an absolutely brilliant job on our cliff top garden under the most arduous weather conditions in the Spring of 2014. In association with the garden designer he recommended to us (Bo Cook of Alitura) he transformed the garden from a modest patch of lawn and borders into a work of art. He started on time (when the winds were blowing at hurricane force) and completed the work on time, keeping us fully informed all the way. We cannot recommend Matt too highly.

George & Alex did a great job in a tight space. Comms were good throughout and they went the extra mile in paying attention to the fine detail and suggesting improvements. Would use again.
