Most flat roofs can be done in one single sheet with no need for any joins. The membrane has a life expectancy of 40+ years. Response was quick. I paid £1200 which was rather expensive for a flat roof over bedroom. The leak returned after a week. Following several messages to repair as I was assured it was guaranteed. They did not return, I am now paying another company again. This has led to further damage given the weather.
